Now its done we already been paid and now we just posted our winning bag to nottinghamshire. We just paid £6.81 so made a small profit on the postage fee on £10 aswell. Isnt life just sweet?

The green bag

So what have we learnt in this E-bay project?

To start with when we spoke to our classmates they generally said that it was really hard to sell on E-bay.
This is where the 4 p's come in hand very well!

Personally we think that the most important one is the actual product so in our case we choose a product that we knew had a high demand on the market. Also Balenciaga being a very big company. Their actual marketing strategy and advertising helped us out very well by selling this branded bag.

Thats the difference between us and the other ones in the same project. Our logotype on the bag helped us sell it dramatically better than even we expected.

Then it comes to price.

The white bag that we sold for £385 + £10 postage fee where provenly a perfect price the bidding ended there and thats most probably the best price we also could get for it.

We had it showing on a Place that the whole world could see it if they where looking for a bag at the specific time.

Then our winning strategy using saying that u can see celebrities carrying around the bag is the best promotion we can think of..

Conclusion we are the best E-bay team =)

Checking up on the staus of bag number two, there havent been any bids yet, but ther eare still 2 days to go until the end of the auction. Looking at the number of viewers that have clicked on our bag is 32, this is a positive number since we only put the bag up for auction 36 hours ago. Hopefully we will be able to succeed a second time around!!

After checking the status of the white balenciaga motorcycle bag earlier this morning, to our pleasant surprise, there were a total of 8 bids between 3 bidders, the winning bid being £ 385.00, making us a great profit, of £ 185.00. The auction was won by a lady in the UK with a memeber name- annie378grey, she seems to have 95 positive reviews and 0 negative reviews in the last 12 months, which insures us that the sale including reciving the money aswell as us shipping the product will be relatively problem free.

Success at last!!!

I cant believe it!!! After so many days of anxiousness....the time has come...we have bidders on the first white balenciaga motorcycle bag, with only 16 hours and 23 minutes to go before the auction expires we have had 10 views and 6 bids, after we decided to add more pictures showing every single detail of the handbag, showing its exsquisite quality, we have finally gotten the wanted attention!!! With the starting bid of £ 325.00 the auction is now already risen to £365.00, this would be a great profit, but the time hasnt expired yet and we are praying for more bidding competition, it can be seen that our marketing strategies including the way we advertised the bag paid off. Its getting late, and will update you about the status of the bag tomorrow morning!!!

The second handbag

After prefusively searching for 2 weeks, we finally found a second hand store which had exactly what we were looking for, Balenciaga bags being sold at cheap prices. The store is located in the shoreditch area. After spending almost an hour examining the condition, color, leather and authenticity of the bag we decided to purchase it. The asking price was £150, we decided to try our luck and started to bargain with the sales lady, after several disputes we agreed on the price of £95, due to pointing out various faults in the leather as well as a stain on the interior of the bag. Even though the bag had a few faults we knew these could be gotten rid of in no time!!
We cleaned the interior of the bag with a hot water steamed cloth with a small amount of mild detergent. The stain dissapeared. Even though the bag was sold as used, it looks like it had maybe been worn twice. The 2 faults in the leather are locate on the detachable strap of the bad, and are relatively small. The bad look brand new and is in mint condition.
After taking the pictures we put the bag online for a relatively high starting price of 500£, but we feel that this bag could deffinetly be sold, since the demand of these balenciaga bags is extremely high at the moment. Even though we dont have a receipt proving the authenticity of the bag, we have something just as valuable....THIS IS THE SERIAL NUMBER ON THE INSIDE OF THE BAG, proving its originality.
This beautiful green bag is now being actioned on ebay, we are hoping for the best!!!

Now we have been able to put up the bag on E-bay it has been on now for 4 days and we had quite a lot of viewers on it. Anyways we lost our hopes to be able to sell it for 900 pounds as predicted. We have now done our proper research and with that also realized that selling this gorgeous bag for 900 Pounds is impossible.

We requested £ 325 as we just simply want to make a profit on it. We learned it the hard way.

Our mission to be able to sell it is by promoting that it is actually a very demanded product on the market and that you can see the A - Celebrities carrying around with it.

The E-Bay project

Jonathan and Carla are going to enter the market of the well known E-Bay.
We are sooo exited. Anyways neither of us has ever sold an item on e-bay before so its going to be a very good experience for us tells our teacher. Our product is actually a really good bargain we were able to get our hands of an real balenciaga bag for 200 pounds.
Our mission is to sell it for 900 pounds the adventure continues
